A printer ink cartridge usually contains a print head and circuitry. At the bottom of an inkjet cartridge are nozzles or what is commonly referred to as “jets”. There can be from 50 to several hundred of these nozzles. Each of these nozzles is smaller in diameter than a human hair. They are connected to a resistor that heats (or allows to cool) the printer ink within the ink cartridge. When ink is heated it forms a bubble. When it cools, the bubble shoots dots of ink through these nozzles onto your printer paper. Because this heating/cooling process is so rapid, your inkjet cartridge can produce thousands of ink droplets per second.
The heaters and nozzles of an ink cartridge will continue to work, even when your printer ink runs out. Testing suggests that the heating unit of an average inkjet cartridge will continue to work for as many as three to five refills.
When your ink cartridge runs out of ink, you have a couple of options. First, you can purchase a printer ink refill kit and fill the cartridge yourself. This will extend the life of your inkjet cartridge and significantly reduce cost. Second, you could purchase a compatible printer inkjet cartridge. These cartridges are manufactured to the same standards as the original cartridge and will not ruin your printer. Remember, the print head and circuitry is normally in the ink cartridge, not in the printer itself.
Your ink cartridge will eventually wear out. When you start seeing streaks or areas where the ink fails to print, it’s time for another inkjet cartridge. You may still have ink in the cartridge. At this point you still have the option of buying a compatible printer inkjet cartridge as mentioned above. This will cost you less than a brand name cartridge. In addition, you can still replace the printer ink in your compatible inkjet cartridge until it to wears out. Now that you know a little about how an ink cartridge works, you can save money two ways: purchase compatible cartridges and refill them up to ten times.

The Epson Stylus Pro 4000 is a new photo printer with several advanced features targeted at satisfying the needs of the most demanding professional photographers, graphic designers, commercial printers, GIS mapping, CAD users, and more. It has a resolution of 2880 x 1440 dots per inch, a variable droplet size as small as 3.5 Picoliters, and a print speed up to 1.9 times faster than any previous Stylus Pro printer with the help of a new one-inch-wide print head packed with 180 nozzles per channel. It also includes a unique 17″ wide printer design with all of Epson’s latest ink, print head, and printer engine technologies.
Using the pigment ink colors that include cyan, magenta, yellow, light cyan, light magenta, light black, matte black, and photo black of the Epson Ultra Chrome Ink technology to eliminate color casts and enhance midtones, we can produce prints with amazing colors while providing consistently stable colors that notably surpass standard dye ink technologies. To maximize the use of this ink technology, Epson has developed a unique 8-channel print head capable of holding eight separate ink cartridges simultaneously. These channels can handle either 110 ml or 220 ml cartridges or a combination of both sizes. Each cartridge also uses Epson’s Intelligent High Capacity Ink technology, a feature that stores a variety of information on a memory chip including ink levels and communicates the data to the printer whenever the power is turned on.
In order to produce the highest level of image quality on different media types, the Epson Stylus Pro 4000 offers two black modes, Photo Black and Matte Black, which are automatically activated by the printer. The printer operates in Photo Black mode when we set the printer driver for photographic media surfaces such as glossy, luster or semi-matte. However, when we select a matte, cotton-based or fine art surface in the printer driver, the printer switches to Matte Black mode.
Epson Stylus Pro 4000 has a built-in paper tray can hold up to 250 sheets of plain letter sized paper or up to 50 cut sheets of photographic media up to 17″ x 22″, as a roll paper holder and automatic cutter allow borderless printing from two or three-inch cored roll paper. Its built-in white beam sensor allows the printer to automatically scan printed alignment patterns created by the printer and then makes automated adjustments if necessary. The said sensor is also used to detect clogged nozzles and automatically activate head cleaning cycles when necessary. User-adjustable roll media spindles can accept either two-inch or three-inch media cores.
It also offers us a sleek, black and silver metallic design that features an easy-to-use front control panel with backlit displays and ink level indicators. Operation is simplified with six simple buttons located next to the display panel. Setup time and effort is also greatly reduced by a built-in auto head alignment feature. Furthermore, Epson’s advanced Micro Piezo(R) DX3(TM) ASIC technology controls the printing process to produce consistent image quality and color output from print to print.

Online stores sell new as well as refurbished copiers. There are vendors who sell copiers at discounted rates and offer incentives such as toner, ink cartridges, or accessories free. Customers have many choices when buying a copier on the internet.
Costs of copiers are not one-time you will need to calculate maintenance costs, paper costs, replacement of toners, and so on.
1. Log on to the internet and study the different kinds of copiers available. There are copiers that print, scan, fax, and copy. These are known as multi-functional products.
2. Determine whether you need a copier for just black and white products or will you need a copier that gives color copies. Color copiers cost at least 25% more.
3. Get a copier that has 20-50 ppm speed. That should be comfortable. Although a jet engine may seem tempting it will increase all other costs too.
4. Do your home work and find an online copier seller who is reliable and sells copier’s steadily. Buy from an online store that follows fair business practices and does not have any complaints registered.
5. Check with the Better Business Bureau whether the online store is reliable. And find out whether the payment gateways are secure. A reliable online copier store must accept credit cards and list their verifiable address on the website along with phone numbers.
6. Always compare prices and get at least three quotes for copiers before you decide.
7. Be an intelligent buyer and read reviews and copier guidelines before making a purchase. Compare features too; never choose a copier based on price alone.
8. Ask about shipping costs, return policy and guarantees.
When budgeting for a copier you need to consider ongoing costs like toner replacements, paper costs, service contracts, and so on. There are many top brands available Canon, Xerox, Toshiba, Sharp, Ricoh, and Konica. Choose a brand that gives good service and suits your needs. A good copier can cost between USD 1190- 12580.
The World Wide Web is an information repository; there are websites that rate top brands and others that publish consumer guidelines as well as user reviews. Make use of the wealth of information and choose a copier that will give you many years of trouble free service.

Having a printer is a must in every office and home. They provide you with hard copies of documents you need for your business or for your personal use at home (although you can print more than just documents). Apart from online transactions, having a hard copy is still a necessity to ensure that you have hard copy documents on hand. But what good is a printer without the ink cartridge? Obviously, it cannot give you the favorable function of the printer if it doesn’t give prints. This now leads you to concerns in ink cartridges.
Most ink cartridges are taken from HP printer models. HP is one of the popular printers in the market, known for its functionality, styles, and quality prints. Depending on the model, HP printer may have separate black cartridges and color cartridges or both in one HP ink cartridge. As there are many models of HP printers, there are also a wide variety of HP ink cartridges in the market.
HP ink cartridges need to be replaced every now and then because it runs out. What you need is good quality and affordable HP ink cartridge. The frequency of the replacements depends on how frequently you print and how many pages you print in one setting. Without replacing it, the printer would be useless. The cost of ink cartridges are most of the time substantial. The HP ink cartridge should give you quality prints at the same time help you save amount in frequent purchases.
HP ink cartridges can be replaced in two ways. One is by purchasing brand-new cartridges for the particular model and the other option would be to have it refilled by re fillers of HP ink cartridges. Ink cartridges of HP printer model vary in containers. They also vary in functionality and quality. All HP ink cartridges can be refilled with the bottle design. However, not all of them may have the same quality print as when they are replaced with brand-new ink cartridge. So to replace the cartridge, you need to determine if the bottle can be refilled or if refilling will have the same quality. If the ink cartridge of the particular HP printer model is not good for refilling, then you have to totally replace the ink cartridge with a brand-new HP ink cartridge rather than simply refill it. What you can do with the empty HP ink cartridge is to sell it to ink companies because they can still be remanufactured. On the other hand, there are HP ink cartridges that, when refilled, offer the same quality of prints and functionality. In this case, you can use the empty ink cartridges to refill it with ink. There are refilling stations for empty HP ink cartridges in certain stores. Refilling is often more cheap than buying new brands.
However you want your HP ink cartridge to be replaced, you need to find a company that offers the right services for HP ink cartridge. You need to find companies that will help you save cost at the same time provide a quality print that you need. And this is where Ink Color will prove to be helpful.

You’ve decided to buy a laser or inkjet printer but do not know how much resolution typical laser or inkjet printers have and how much is really necessary for you. Here’s some information that will help you find out before buying your inkjet or laser printer.
Resolution is the maximum number of dots that the laser or inkjet printer can print in a square inch. In theory higher resolution will give better results. It will print more details which is important especially for printing graphics. But as a marketing trick, manufacturers inflate the resolution numbers and these numbers are not the only factors in print quality. The ink cartridges or toner cartridges, the number of colors, the paper and the method of printing are also great factors in print quality.
Resolution is measured by the dpi (dots per inch) which indicates the maximum number of dots that the laser or inkjet printer can print in a square inch. And each of these dots in a digital photograph is called pixels. A digital photograph is made up of thousands of pixels.
The resolution of an inexpensive inkjet printer will be between 1200 by 1200 dots per inch (dpi) to 2400 by 1200 dpi. And a higher-end inkjet printer will have a resolution between 2400 by 1200 dpi to 4800 by 1200 dpi. The resolution of a Personal Monochrome laser printer will be between 600 by 600 dpi to 1200 by 1200 dpi. And a workgroup laser printer will typically be 1200 by 1200 dpi.
The resolution of an inexpensive color laser printer will be between 1200 by 600 dpi to 2400 by 1200 dpi. And a higher-end color laser will have a resolution between 2400 by 1200 dpi to 2400 by 2400 dpi. Although laser printers have lower resolutions, they are quite sufficient in printing text and simple graphics.
In any case, it is best to print out a sample to test the real print quality of the inkjet or laser printer rather than just looking at its resolution.
The speed of a laser printer or inkjet printer is measured by the ppm (pages per minute); the number of pages a laser or inkjet printer can produce in one minute. Generally the speed increases as the price of the printer increases. Normally inkjet and laser printers have 3 levels of quality settings: draft, normal, best. The higher the quality, lower the speed. Bear in mind that the speeds stated by the manufacturers are often higher than real life speeds. While testing the speed, the manufacturers often print the basic text with lowest print quality and come up with such fast speeds. The real speed is likely to be nearly half the speed stated by the manufacturer if you use the normal printing quality. Speed will especially be important for you if you intend to print graphics frequently with your inkjet or laser printer. Print speeds may vary depending on many factors such as your laser or inkjet printer’s print mode, system configuration, page coverage, document complexity and software.
So print speed of a typical inkjet printer may vary between 1 to 28 ppm for black text and 1 to 20 ppm for color photo or graphics. A mid-range monochrome laser printer’s print speed may vary between 6 to 25 ppm for sharp black texts and 2 to 20 ppm for black & white graphics. A typical color laser printer’s print speed will vary between 6 to 20 ppm for black text and 1 to 12 ppm for color graphics.
